A decision has been taken to build a boundary wall around Rawalpindi Railway Station due to security concerns.
Sources said Rawalpindi Railway authorities have decided to build a boundary wall at Lalamusa Railway Station in the first phase and at Rawalpindi Railway Station in the second phase, keeping in view security concerns.
An application has also been moved to Railways Chairman Arif Azeem seeking Rs 25 million for the construction of these boundary walls.
Rawalpindi Railway authorities worked out the feasibility report on this count.
As per the report, a sum of Rs 2.5 million will be spent on the construction of the boundary wall at Rawalpindi Railway Station.
