At least seven people were injured in a cylinder blast near the residence of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa’s Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain on Tuesday.
Officials said some labourers were working on construction of a road in Pabbi town when the blast took place on the roadside.
As a result, two children and five labourers were wounded. The injured were shifted to hospital as security forces arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
However, the minister was not present in city when the incident occurred.
Further investigations into the incident have been started.
