Four Indian prisoners, seven fishermen handed over to India

Ansar Burney Trust International Vice Chairman Fahad Burney on Friday that the released seven Indian fishermen and four prisoners were handed over to Indian authorities at Wagah border. Fahad Burney said the released Indian prisoners were Lakhoo Ram, Om Parkash, Ashok Kumar and Nazir Hussain and the seven fishermen were Khema, Shivdas, Manno, Bharat Dheeru, Govind Bamaniya, Mansigh Bhagwa and Lala Pnsa Bhika Belu. Burney appreciated Pakistan’s humanitarian attitude towards the fishermen and other foreign prisoners. He said that the seven Indian fishermen were released from Landhi Jail in Karachi and the four Indian prisoners were released from Punjab jails to be handed over to Indian authorities. Ansar Burney Trust International bore the expenses of the release and transfer.
