Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain criticizing the decision to end Quetta’s protesting sit-in despite the demands were not fulfilled, saying the bereaved families have been disappointed with this step.

Addressing the MQM’s Rabta Committee simultaneously in Karachi and London, he said the ‘one-sided’ move to end the sit-in is tantamount to hurt the Shia faith, adding some elements were doing politics over the bodies of Quetta blast victims.

Altaf noted the parliamentary committee sent to Quetta by the government to resolve the issues, was an affront to the bereaved families of Quetta carnage that left 90 people dead on Saturday.

He posed a question to the army and chiefs of intelligence agencies as to when will the bloodshed of innocent of youths, children, elders and women come to an end; as millions of rupees are spent on the law-enforcement agencies.

On this occasion, he urged upon all schools of thoughts to stand united instead of causing more rifts amongst themselves. NNI

  1. Altaf Hussain siting under the patronage of Cameron, who is all set to clinch a bargain from India, is polluting the already polluted conditions of Pakistan. He is not playing the role of leader of the Opposition. with Governor of Sind of his party firmly established, but wants some bolt from blue to fall on Pakistan so as to get tenure of the Assemblies extended by a year.
