Unidentified armed men on Friday killed a 14-year-old boy in Millat Park.
According to police, two boys, Waqar Ashraf (14), a resident of Narowal and, Nadeem (12), a resident of Raiwind City, were asleep in a shop in the Millat Park area, when unidentified men opened fire on them, killing Waqar. However, Nadeem escaped unharmed.
The police have filed an FIR against the unidentified men on the request of the victim’s father.
Separately, a 65-year-old man was killed over property. A Report said that the man named Nazir Ahmed (65) had a property dispute with his elder brother’s sons, Salmat and Sadaqat. Salamat along with his three accomplices opened fire on him and fled from the scene.
Police recovered the body and shifted it to the city morgue for an autopsy. The police also filed an FIR on the request of the victim’s son.
