Firing incidents continued in Karachi as two more policemen were killed in a fresh spree of attacks against law-enforcement personnel.
Officials said unidentified attackers shot dead two constables in Bilal Colony area late on Friday. They were stationed at a local camp of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), assigned the duty to protect ECP personnel.
The victims were identified as Akhtar Shehzad and Abdul Aziz. Police termed the murders as ‘target-killing’
The killing took place day after four policemen, including a DSP, lost their lives in two consecutive explosions in Karachi’s Ladhi area.
