MQM Rabita Committee has expressed gratitude to the public, scholars, transporters, and industrialists for taking part in the peaceful day of mourning observed by the MQM to express solidarity with the deceased of the Quetta tragedy. In a statement issued by the MQM on Monday, the Rabita Committee said that people had closed down their businesses voluntarily on the appeal of the MQM, and shared the grief of the mourners. Nobody could be allowed to demean humanity at any cost, the committee added. The Rabita Committee said that the MQM wanted to establish a society based on peace, inter-faith harmony and brotherhood. The Rabita Committee commended the MQM senators, Members National Assembly, Members Provincial Assembly, office-bearers and workers for taking part in the sit-in at various city locations in order to express solidarity with the mourners of the Quetta tragedy.
