Enquiry commission has recorded the statements of 82 out of the 294 eyewitnesses of the Lal Masjid incident.
The enquiry commission issued a show cause notice to the then CDA Chairman Syed Tahir Shahbaz and National Crises Management Cell director general for not providing the required record timely and directed them to present the record by January 8.
The enquiry commission also issued a show cause notice to the PTV Chairman Rasheed Ahmad and other journalists for not presenting the record required by the commission, and summoned them on January 9.
The commission also directed PEMRA chairman to take legal action in case the private TV channels do not submit the records.
