Golra and Tarnol police stations have arrested seven persons including four women, and recovered 4.660 kg opium and 2.510 kg hashish from them, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
Following directions of SSP Yaseen Farooq regarding strict patrolling at the entry and exit points, a team supervised by ASP Rana Tahir began a search operation in Sadaat Colony and arrested five drug pushers including three women, and recovered 4.660 kg opium from them.
Sub-inspectors Ghulam Shabbir and Muhammad Idrees from Tarnol Police Station arrested Asia Bibi and recovered two kg hashish from her, and Imtiaz Khan was arrested for carrying 510g of hashish.
