Islamabad Police have arrested 14 outlaws including three car thieves, a fraudster, dacoits and recovered drugs and stolen cars, weapons, and other snatched items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. According to details, SP (Saddar) Sajid Kiani directed officials concerned to undertake effective patrolling and vigilance in their respective area and he constituted special teams for this purpose. One of his team headed by ASI Ehsan Ullah from the Margallah Police Station nabbed a cheater Zahoor who used to deprive people from cash and other valuables after intoxicating them.
Another team supervised by Sub-Inspector Javed Iqbal and ASI Nur Elahi from Ramana police arrested three accused Sardeen, Yasin, and Qasim Ali for their alleged involvement in car theft incidents besides recovering a stolen car (SV-095) and two 30 bore pistols from them.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam from Golra police apprehended two females Nur Jehan and Perveen for possessing 270 and 300 grams of hashish respectively while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ashraf arrested Manzar Khan for having 215 grams of hashish. Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Yar Muhammad from the Tarnol Police Station arrested Umer Farooq and recovered 110 grams of heroin from him, while Sub-Inspector Shams Akbar from CIA Police apprehended Sher Ali for having a 30 bore pistol.
Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Abdul Ghafoor from the Secretariat Police Station arrested a
dacoit named Sohail Ahmed when he was trying to snatch cash and mobile phones from students of the Quaid-e-Azam University. Furthermore, ASI Ameer Sajjad from Bhara Kau Police Station arrested an accused Umar for having ten bottles of wine. ASI Muhammad Farooq from Shehzad Town police arrested two persons Naseer and Pervez for breaking into the house of Syeda Iram Shezadi at Khana Dak, while ASI Ehsan ul Haq from Nilore police nabbed Shahzor alias Najeeb Ullah for involvement in a different theft incident.
