India Friday urged Pakistan to fast track the trial of Mumbai terror attacks case in a bid to bring the perpetrators of the massacre to justice.
“India sees little moment as far as accountability in Mumbai attacks is concerned,” Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid said.
The Indian minister’s statement came on a day when Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik starts his two-day tour of the country.
During his visit, the interior minister is likely to hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. The two countries are also expected to announce fresh visa terms aimed at easing travel between the two arch-rivals.
