The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday ordered the head of Faisalabad police to conduct an enquiry against Faisalabad SP Investigation Rai Zameer ul Haq for passing an illegal order for the cancellation of a case and submit a report within seven days.
The court also ordered to forward a copy of its orders to the home secretary and Punjab inspector general of police.
Justice Mazahar Naqvi passed the orders while hearing an application filed by Faryad Hussain for bail in a case registered against him and others at PS Sadar Jaranwala under section 324, 337-F (V), 148 and 149.
