Veteran Sindhi folk musician Ustad Mohammad Buksh aka ‘Banjo Nawaz’ passed away at a local hospital after prolonged illness on Wednesday at the age of 60. Banjo was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard by his kin and a large number of fans hailing from various walks of life. Sindh Culture Minister Sassui Palijo and Sindh Culture Secretary Abdul Aziz Uqali condoled with the deceased’s family, expressed grief over the loss of the cultural icon and prayed to the Almighty to grant his favors onto the departed soul.
