Biased thinking

That’s what I call is biased thinking when Ch Nisar objects to Bilawal Bhutto’s presence at D-8. Bilawal is the future prime minister or the president of Pakistan. The visiting heads of state and governments all have almost taken their present positions in the recent past, so they are likely to be there for at least 5-8 years. It is Bilawal who has to deal with such people, hence his physical presence was imperative at the summit. Welcoming the visitors alongside, his visionary father gave each one the message that Bilawal was the future of Pakistan. Never mind if he cannot speak Urdu, his mother also had poor Urdu when she came to power. Even his grandfather ZAB knew street language which he even uttered at Gaddafi Stadium rally in his prime days.
Never mind if Bilawal does not have any exposure to international scenario. After all most political leaders in Pakistan learnt about diplomacy and politics after assuming power. Primarily, they had no background except running factories or spending time in jails playing cards. Then we have handy tutors in politics like Hina Rabbani Khar who can render their coaching and counselling Bilawal. Bialwal has a style and remnants of Bhuttos. He makes nice gestures. We all love Bilawal and look forward to him to emerge as a real saviour of sick economy and isolated country. We want him to use his Oxon style to rule the country. Pakistanis have spent 150 years under British Raj, the only language they understand is British style. To Ch Nisar, my only advice is to accept a spade a spade. Bilawal is our national asset, we must learn to preserve and nourish our national assets.
