Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Hiroshi Oe on Thursday expressed reservations over strong workers unions in Pakistan and said Japanese investors wanted to invest in Pakistan but were afraid of the workers union culture.
He expressed these views during his visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hiroshi Oe expressed satisfaction over the business environment in Pakistan and termed it better and safe. The ambassador also stated that Japanese government has hosted investment seminars for Pakistan to further strengthen bilateral relations. “Japanese businessmen are being motivated for establishing business with their counterparts in Pakistan adding that Japan will continue to provide financial and technical assistance to Pakistan as we believe that this country has a great potential for the future, he added.
