A complete strike was observed in Rawalpindi Bar against the non-issuance of a notification for the appointment of Islamabad High Court’s judges.
The strike was observed on the call of Rawalpindi District and High Court Bars.
Rawalpindi Bar Association’s President Shaikh Ahsanuddin said that the parliamentary committee had approved proposals of the judicial commission and President Asif Ali Zardari was bound to issue a notification for the appointment of judges.
Lawyers also protest against Israel’s air strike on Gaza and blasphemous content on Youtube.
