Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik Monday said that more terror activities are expected in the upcoming days across Pakistan.
Talking to reporters, Malik pointed out third party involvement in the violent activities in Karachi and other cities during Muharram.
The minister instructed the authorities to allow parking of motorcycles half kilometer away from Imam bargah and added that cars must be parked a kilometer away from the imambargahs and majalis areas.
Malik also ruled out sectarian divide in the country saying, “there is no sectarianism in Pakistan everyone is a Muslim.”
He said terrorists are adversaries of democracy and Pakistan, adding the enemies are on the go with determination to destabilize the country.
Some people, he asserted, wish to abolish the democracy from the country; however, law and order will be maintained through the available resources.
