Terror groups investing in Indian stock markets: Home Minister Shinde

Indian Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said on Friday that the Indian government has information that some terror groups have been investing money in Indian stock markets At the Interpol meeting in Rome, Shinde said that the Indian government has information that some terror groups were increasing their investment in the Indian stock markets. When asked whether Pakistan-based Jamaat-ud-Dawa is among them, the minister replied that he would not be able to name the groups involved. Regarding the violence in Assam, Shinde said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had spoken to Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and offered him assistance in controlling the situation. He said the number of people in transit camps in Assam had decreased from 0.5 million to just 24,000.
