The government had announced that LG polls would be held the before general elections. The common man is shocked by this sudden announcement. The question is what is the justification of these polls before general elections? It seems that the government deliberately wants to postpone upcoming general elections. The government has passed four and a half year without local governments. It would have been better if the government had taken this step in its first year. The country is faces internal and external threats. Such a move will add to the miseries of people. For instance, provincial issues are increasing day by day. Balochistan issue requires a solution. Similarly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also requires government attention. The government should spend the rest of its tenure in o resolving these issues rather than opening new Pandora Boxes. I appeal to leave the LG polls to the new government.
