SPMUDA calls for right to education for all

The goodwill ambassadors for peace, hope, unity and humanity of the Southern Philippines Muslim Unity and Development Association (SPMUDA-International) for Pakistan have expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation, political instability, extremism and religious intolerance in the country.
The association expressed these views in a meeting chaired by Munawar Ali Shahid. Other participants included Zameer Afaqi (Goodwill Ambassador Peace &Unity), Mohammad Mahmood Khan (Coordinator Province Punjab) and Nadeem Anthony advocate (Goodwill Ambassador for Peace & Hope).
The SPMUDA Goodwill Ambassadors for Pakistan in a joint statement hailed the UN pronouncement for declaring November 10 as Malala Day and paid tribute to Malala Yousafzai for her struggle and courage to stand up for the right to education. They urged the government and people of Pakistan to take initiative and guarantee right to education of every child in the country. During the meeting, Munawar Shahid (Director General Pakistan & Asia Pacific) honoured Zameer Afaqi, Mahmood Khan and Nadeem Anthony with certificate of honorary membership extended by the SPMUDA International Secretariat, Philippines.
