KP, GB reach agreement on demarcation of boundaries

The governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan have agreed for demarcation of bounders between the adjunct areas of both the provinces.
The KP government has requested GB government for segregation of the areas after some misunderstandings between two governments on the issue of geographical limits.
KP government has established 9 checkposts to safeguards Kohistan district from the miscreants attacks which was objected by Gilgit Baltistan. Similarly KP government paid compensation to the persons, which were killed in the jurisdiction of Gilgit Baltistan.
The demarcation of boundaries would be carried out in the areas of Mansehra, Kohistan, Chitral and Baltistan, for which federal government has given approval. In this connection, the teams constituted for the purpose would present their report to both provincial governments within short span of time.
