Amidst resentment and anger of Karachittes against KMC for not hygienically disposing animal offals, Shah Faisal Town administration set a record of cleaning and disposing offals of the sacrificial animals on the first and second day of Eid-ul-Azha. The town administration disposed offals of an estimated 28,215 and 13,440 animals on the first and second day of Eid. On the first day of Eid, the town municipal staff discharged their duties till wee hours of morning, and by 5 p.m. on Sunday not single offal was seen lying unattended within the Town limits. The Shah Faisal management sprayed sacrificial sites, mosques, seminaries, streets and mohallahs with germicides. The residents of the town lauded the performance of the Town management. MQM MPA Nishat Zia Qadri along with Chief Officer Kamal Mustafa and other officials concerned supervised the cleanliness work.
