Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) Karachi campus organized an event titled K-Town Madness under the supervision of Ms Hina Shamsi Nauman. The event was a part of a course project of BBA 5E “Business Ethics” class and the students planned a treasure hunt in the Clifton and Defense areas of the metropolis with an objective of assimilation the A Level students of neighboring schools with SZABIST students. A fixed percentage of the proceeds of the event will be used to conduct a CSR activity in collaboration with World Wide Fund (WWF) – Pakistan by assisting in their project of installing Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation in one of the WWF schools at Sand spit. Fresh water is scarce there and fishermen communities of the area cannot afford filters to purify water.
