Shaheed-e-Millat: a role model

Renowned Pakistan Movement worker Syed Ahmed Saeed Kirmani once said that Quaid-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan lived and died for the country and a leader like him was born in centuries.
Liaquat Ali Khan was a close and trusted companion of Quaid-e-Azam and would be remembered as a brave leader who warned India on hatching conspiracies against newborn country by raising his famous mukka (Punch).
Quaid-e-Millat had sacrificed all his property for the country. We pray that may our politicians follow the footsteps of the Shaheed (by at least refraining from looting the country).
Renowned writers believe that Liaquat Ali Khan was truly our Quaid-e-Millat. Quaid-e-Azam gifted us Pakistan while Quaid-e-Millat had served Pakistan for four years as a prime minister – a role model of honest leadership.
Who can deny that Khan Liaquat Ali Khan was a great leader of Pakistan Movement after Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal and Fatima Jinnah. The first PM had led a simple life and worked day and night for Muslim League as a general secretary. The Shaheed-e-Millat would also be remembered in preparing first poor-friendly budget of Indo-Pak as a finance minister.
We will remember Shaheed-e-Millat as a mover of Objective Resolution and as founder of foreign relation policy of Pakistan.
Not enough coverage of this great leader was seen in the print media on his Youm-e-Shahadat while few years back he was covered on the front page. Hope they will prove their worth as representatives of a living nation by adequately covering the true Shaheed-e-Millat – a role model.
