Former member of Provincial Assembly from Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) from Tahir Bashir Cheema called on the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and expressing his confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif announced to join Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N). Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif welcomed Tahir Cheema in PML-N and said that it will further strength the party. He said that due to the increasing popularity of PML-N and public service programmes, political personalities are joining the party in large numbers. The chief minister said that the nation will hold the looters and corrupt leaders accountable in the next election and expressed his confidence of a strong voter turnout in favor PML-N in the next election.
