The family members and relatives of a woman who allegedly died of negligence of doctors ransacked hospital and tortured staff here late Sunday night.
According to details, 40-year-old Mehraj Bibi hailing from a sub-urban area was shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Kasur due to pain in muscles.
Family members said that the doctors injected the patient and left the hospital. Some minutes after injection her condition worsened further and died later.
The enraged heirs of the deceased ransacked the hospital and also tortured doctors and paramedical staff.
The doctors have denied the allegation saying that the woman died her natural death and not due to spurious injection or any negligence in treatment.
The police have registered a case into the incident and started the investigation.
