I have noticed with grave concern that Sindh card is being used openly. I raised my eyebrows when Sindh was advertised as “Sindh ki Tareeqi, Pakis tan ki Tareeqi” through some paid celebrities. Seeing the PPP rally and listening to speeches of leaders at Hyderabad rally, Sindh and Bhutto have been bracketed and Sindh slogan has been raised time and again. Even the PPP flag has a moon appearing in the middle of three colours.
My simple questions are: was it a Sindh rally or PPP rally for Pakistan? What is that new moon in the middle of PPP three coloured flag? What are all these surprising things indicating? MQM’s long cherished demand of LG system has been legislated in one hour or so? Are we heading for something? Balochistan is already a total rebellion. Is Sindh a new one?

The SPLGO-12 Ordinance was passed within five minutes as reported by media whereas BBC Urdu service says it was passed within 4 minutes. The members were not allowed to participate in discussion. The Sindh Assemblt’y speaker Nisar Khuhro strangely declared the Ordinance was passed unanimously despite 19 members of Opposition opposed the bill inside the House whereas more than 23 did not attend the session in protest. This reminds us dictatorial tactics used by socalled democratic govt in Sindh.
