Sindh province faces constant challenges of pervasive poverty, population explosion, poor infrastructure, recurring natural and man-made disasters due to organized corruption and inefficiency and dwindling provision of development assistance. Due to the non-availability of drinking water because potable water is available only in the paid documentaries and advertisements, people often suffer from gastroenteritis and other water borne diseases, which are very much common in the rural and remote areas of the province. Nowadays, due to ruthlessly slow relief work in various monsoon rains caused flood-affected areas in Sindh, there is an outbreak of cholera and gastroenteritis, among others, which have claimed many lives, in particular, those of children, pregnant women and elderly people. The incumbent rulers are there, it appears to be, only to rule and relish but they have no concern with the monsoon rains -flood victims who are in a state of misery and fright and dying premature death due to gastroenteritis and other ailments in the areas. However, the humanity caring INGOs and other bodies such UNICEF, WHO, ICRC, Qatar Charity etc are appealed to rescue the rain victims in the province.
