Daring extreme sports enthusiast shows off the Flyboard, a combination of a jet ski and a jet pack, in the waters off Australia’s Gold Coast. The Flyboard is attached to a jet ski by a Kevlar hose that pumps water to keep it as high as ten metres in the air, enabling riders to dive, dolphin-like, under water from a great height. They then use their feet to control the direction in which the board travels and their hands to keep it stable. The Flyboard was invented by jet skier Franky Zapata in 2011. Those who want to try out this new extreme sport should be aware that it is not cheap, the Flyboard costs over £7,000. courtesy

  1. I had tried flyboarding once and quite enjoyed it for a few minutes for it is quite expensive in some areas, well the feeling is one of a kind. It seems like you are flying using one of those jetpacks that we see in movies.
