Punjab Police had a busy day on Saturday and arrested many criminals from different places of the city. Police raided different areas of the city and arrested many criminals. A report said that the police arrested two dacoits from the area of Naseerabad and recovered six mobile phones, 5 tola gold and cash worth thousands of rupees from their possession. In another raid, police arrested 7 gamblers from the area of Bhatti Gate and recovered Rs 30,000 cash and other valuables. In a crackdown against drug dealers police raided different areas on a tip-off and arrested criminals named Fayaz, Fareed, Imran, Majo and Bashir from the areas of Sundar, Chohng and Bhaati Gate and recovering 50 bottles of liquor and a sizeable quantity of hashish from their possession. Police filed FIRs against the accused for further investigations.
