Inciting to violence

Some media mongers have been tirelessly trying to convince us that President Obama has violated the American Constitution by not banning the Nakoula’ video which has outraged many Muslims across the world. Nakoula is presently under arrest, not because of the video’ contents but for violating the terms of his probation. In my opinion by doing so the media itself is trying to incite people by calling the video as ‘US made anti-Islam video’ and by telling them that the West is trying to bully Muslims in accepting the values of ‘free speech’.
By using the concept of free speech, we shall not ask the media not to publish/telecast such opinions, instead we shall request them to prove the point — how come an amateurish video produced by an individual in California could be declared as ‘US made video’; has the US government funded and facilitated the making of the video? If so please share the evidence. And how the West is trying to bully the Muslims — who are attacking Western embassies and missions, business interests and individuals in the Muslim world, who are burning Western countries flags, who are indulging in violence (though mostly against their own countrymen) in the disguise of love for the Prophet.
Under ‘free speech’, press has every right to defend its case; however for the time being it has based its case on hollow arguments. It shall be noted that a Pakistani cabinet minister, Ghulam Bilour’s offer of $100,000 reward for murdering the video maker doesn’t fall under ‘free speech’ as it asks for violence. On the same note, killing and injuring of scores, destruction and looting of banks, public and private properties, cinemas in Karachi and Peshawar on Sept 21 can’t be attributed to our love for the Prophet.
