Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said the nation was extremely disappointed with present rulers as they had only worsened its state of affairs with their poor policies. Talking to Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Swedish Ambassador to Pakistan Lars-Hjalmar Wide, Nawaz said the country’s roots had been weakened by inefficient rulers. He said ridding the nation of present rulers and free and fair general election were crucial to saving the country from bigger mishaps. He said not only the PPP, but all its allies were responsible for the sorry state of affairs in the country. The PML-N chief said instead of resolving the people’s problems, the rulers had only increased them. Achakzai said the country was facing unprecedented problems due to inefficiency of the government. “A lot of problems of the people could have been resolved if the intentions of the rulers were right,” he said.

  1. Lets read the history and come to conclusion what is root cause of political failures in Pakistan.
There is road named on Maulana Din Muhammad Wafia in Karachi on which PIA main booking office, YMCA is located. Starts from the roundabout near Zainab Market and ends at Shaheen Complex.
can any body think who was that man and why his name was allotted
At the time of independence The issue of separation of Karachi from Sindh created resentment against Quad-e-Azam in Sindh. Renowned journalist Maulana Din Muhammad Wafai called Muhammad Ali Jinnah a dictator.Sindh chief minister Khuhro also opposed the Muslim League and Jinnah on the Karachi issue. On April 26, 1948, the Sindh governor Ghulam Husain dismissed the elected government on Jinnah 's directives

    • nice, the lesson is that civilian leaders are more dictators then the real ones, family parties, no elections in their partioes, group of like minded plunders, Sabotaging the state and people from day ONE.

  2. You are right Mian Saheb.
Just a reminder, that the list of rulers include you and your family members, too. And people are really fed-up of you.

  3. Very simple!
It was Jinnah who wrongly set examples of governance that was latter on followed by so called leaders of Pakistan so he was among the first who went against elected leaders of Pakistan .so if we modify Nawaz's comment like that nation was extremely disappointed with past/ present rulers as they had only worsened its state of affairs with their poor policies.
then it would be correct and as part of real history of Pakistan's Politics.

  4. Punjab Govt should first pay attention to their home. Actions speaks louder, one can see the situation in Punjab. This Punjab Govt has mostly escaped from the criticism of the media due to their good relations with anchors and newspaper journalists. What did they do in the examination results fiasco? Dr.Majid Naeem, the IT consultant of Punjab Govt, is brother-in-law of Mr.Ishaq Dar and you know that Ishaq Dar is a close relative of Nawaz Sharif. What did the Punjab government do in taking preemptive measures against Dengue fever when the experts had warned last year that this disease will attack Punjab in the next year? What is the general law-n-order situation in Punjab? Did you forget the security they provided to Sri Lankan team and Salman Taseer. What happened to son of Salman Taseer. Mian brothers are the worst on the earth.

  5. Rulers both past and present have utterly disappointed the nation. Mr. Nawaz Shareef you have ruled Pakistan twice not in the distant past. This disunited nation will progress if it succeeds getting rid of this whole lot of looters in disguise as national leaders.
