Commissioner of Karachi Roshan Ali Shaikh said Thursday that the I.I. Chundrigar Road in downtown Karachi would be improved and developed in accordance with the international standards.
He was chairing a meeting regarding the developing of I.I. Chundrigar Road under the Governor’s Package.
The commissioner further pointed out that steps were being taken to beautify the I.I. Chundrigar Road and Saddar in order to make both these places attractive for local and foreign investors.
He said that a food street would also be set up for provision of quality food to those who work in national and multi-national firms located at the said road.
He stated that the old buildings at I.I. Chundrigar Road would be renovated in their original shape.
