Scattered heaps of garbage and a rickshaw stop on Saidpur Road close to Pindora graveyard has been causing trouble to the residents of the area besides jeopardizing the splendor of the place. The residents of Saidpur Road and visitors to the graveyard expressed resentment over the heaps of garbage and the existence of a rickshaw stop which contributed to traffic jams and added to the nuisance of sound pollution. They said that the situation was a question mark on the performance of the local lawmakers and the Cantonment Board.
The traders’ community and locals said that despite multiple complaints to the Cantonment Board no attention was paid to the matter.
