A Special Services Group would train jail staff in Punjab in order for them to be able to cope with acts of terror in the wake of threats from militants.
Sources said that the training would be initiated in Adiyala jail where a large number of high profile criminals were kept.
The decision was made in a meeting held in the office of the 111 Brigade located in the Chaklala garrison.
Initially, 100 personnel of Adyala jail would be given training by SSPs of the Special Services Group.
Moreover, schedule and timings of the training would be arranged by superintendent jail and related army officials.
