SCBA conference on Balochistan unrest soon: Azad

Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Yaseen Azad on Wednesday said that they will arrange a one-day conference on the law and order situation of Balochistan in Quetta on September 9.
While talking to media persons on the premises of Supreme Court (SC), Azad said that the conference titled “Balochistan issue, its solution and achievement” would be attended by a number of political, religious and other notable personalities.
He underlined the need for finding out a political solution to the issue and called upon all the political parties to shun their differences and come forward to resolve the issue.
He said that the democratic process in the country should continue, however, an interim set up should be brought in before the general elections.
Previously, the SCBA, the top lawyers’ fraternity body, on May 26 had also arranged a national conference on Balochistan issue in Islamabad which was attended by prominent political, social, and religious personalities.
