Muhammad Haneef, 30, a resident of Lahore was declared to be suffering from dengue virus in a local hospital after dengue virus was identified in his blood samples. Haneef visited the hospital complaining of suffering form high fever for the last few days. The total number of confirmed patients of dengue in the city now stands at twenty three. At least ten dengue patients are under treatment in Mayo Hospital, three each in General and Jinnah Hosptials and two are under treatment in Services Hospital.
