The Ministry of Religious Affairs is set to start the training campaign for intending pilgrims in various ‘Haji” camps across the country from the first week of September.
According to an official, the intending pilgrims would be imparted special training to help them perform the hajj rituals correctly.
He said special training programs had been separately designed for female pilgrims. Besides this, brochures would also be distributed among the intending pilgrims to enable them to perform the sacred religious obligation in accordance with the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him).
In addition to this, various television channels including Pakistan Television (PTV) and Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) had started airing special training programs for the pilgrims.
PTV and Radio Pakistan would also depute teams, comprising of TV and radio producers and co-coordinators, in Saudi Arabia for the coverage of Hajj and for the production of documentaries related to the event.
