Differences have been settled between the PML-N and the Khosa family and PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has managed to woo Zulfiqar Khosa back into the party fold.
According to statement issued here, Nawaz Sharif and Zulfiqar Khosa met each other at Raiwand.
Zulfiqar Khosa reposed full confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
Zulfiqar Khosa had not left the party and in the meeting PML-N leadership redressed his reservations, the statement added.
During the meeting, Zulfiqar Khosa discussed his reservations with Nawaz Sharif after which the party leader assured that he will not let any one play unfair with him.
Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif also attended the meeting.
Zulfiqar Khosa had reportedly assured that he would rejoin the party and reposed his confidence in the PML-N leadership.
Meanwhile PML-N leader Ishfaq Sarwar talking to media said that Zulfiqar Khosa himself approached us. Mian Nawaz Sharif had gone to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah if he had been here it would have not been such a big deal.
He said that Khosa had some reservations regarding bureaucracy, which have been removed. He had no animosity against the leadership that is why his resignation was not accepted.
He told that Zulfiqar Khosa said that he had always been a league member and would continue to remain so.
Regarding Dost Mohammad Khosa, son of Zulfiqar Khosa, he said that it was Senior Zulfiqar who took most notice of his son press conference. We would also call him and would remove all grievances by sitting together.
Earlier on Friday night Chaudhry Nisar had also called on Zulfiqar Khosa and tried to control the damage.
The two leaders had a meeting in a congenial atmosphere and Ch Nisar succeeded in convincing Zulfiqar Khosa not to part ways with PMl-N.
It must be remembered that a few weeks back Dost Muhammad Khosa lashed at Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
Khosa family has certain grievances against the PML-N leadership and father and son resigned from the party offices.
Khosa recently resigned from all political offices due to differences with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while his son, Dost Muhammad Khan Khosa, also tendered his resignation.
