The Meteorological Department has predicted more rains in the Punjab, Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas in the next 24 hours while floods have inundated several villages, Media reports said on Friday.
In the past 24 hours, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat and Kashmir received scattered rain with Sahiwal receiving the maximum 88 millimeter of rain.
Due to flood in Nullah Daik, water entered into the open fields while several houses also collapsed in Hafizabad due to flooding in Chenab River.
Several other villages are at high risk of getting submerged in the floodwater.
Highest temperature of 44 degree Celsius was recorded in Dalbandin on Thursday.
