Hundreds of Muslims have been brutally killed in Myanmar (Burma) but in Pakistan few protests have been witnessed. Political parties, civil societies and so-called free media have not highlighted this issue. On Social networking websites, killing of Muslims has been discussed a lot and people have also condemned this hostile act.
Jamaat-e-Islami has protested against killing in Rawalpindi. JUI-F has announced to hold protest rallies against killing of the innocent Muslims and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has also protested against these killings. But all of these protests which have been held till now have been on small scale and media has also not shown these protests.
Pakistani electronic and print media which eagerly highlights the death news of Indian actors should realise the seriousness of this issue and should showcase these killings.
