Exide Pakistan Ltd has posted a higher profit after tax of Rs 184.698 million for the first quarter ending June 30, 2012. According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here Tuesday, the pre-tax profit also surged to Rs 281.929 million for the period under review against Rs 156.551 million last year.
