Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore on Friday made an error in the mark sheets of non-Muslim students’ matriculation examination when instead of listing Ethics as a subject, it was written Islamiyat by mistake.
According to a private TV channel, non-Muslim students whose matriculation results had been announced on Friday had problems with their results as they had taken Ethics exams which BISE converted it to Islamiyat in their mark sheets by mistake.
A student, Wasim Masih said, “I have been coming again and again to get my mark sheet corrected but the management is not helping me.” Wasim’s roll no is 226186.
He said all non-Muslim students had taken Ethics exam but in their marks sheet the officials had written Islamiyat as a subject, which was a mistake.
The BISE management said they were working on the issue and would address the non-Muslim students’ complains very soon.
