The meaningless resolution?

A very badly planned drama that the government of Pakistan is staging with regards to the opening of the supply routes for the US is really heart rendering. The strong arm tactic seems to have again worked because Russian and Central Asian Republics were not prepared to allow exit facility for lethal arms through its soil, which Pakistan has agreed to without ensuring any check or surveillance to the fact that these vehicles are not lost in transit or ‘gifted’ to some favourite proxies to carry on their destabilisation agendas.
This is also another unpopular decision. We all remember the long speeches about the supremacy of the parliament and the resolution which it had passed. But it seems that the items that the resolution contained had no value and have been consigned to the dustbin. Many of the conditions set in the resolution – most importantly, the halting of the drone attacks – have not been met. And even though one of the conditions for reopening the supply routes was the resumption of aid under the CSF, the US Congress has still not spared us and has decided to punish Pakistan by deducting $ 630 million from its ongoing grant.
By reopening these lines, it has only been learnt that the establishment still runs the show in many ways and all the talk about parliamentary supremacy was mere hokum.
