A spate of shootings and bombings in Baghdad and north of the capital killed at least 24 people on Monday, security and medical officials said.
The deadliest attacks struck a military base near the town of Dhuluiyah and the town of Taji, with both attacks killing seven people each, officials said.
Bombings and shootings also hit Baghdad, as well as Saadiyah, Khan Beni Saad, Kirkuk, Tuz Khurmatu and Dibis, all of which are north of the capital.
