Govt’s wrong policies increasing external intervention: Fazl

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Saturday said wrong policies of the PPP-led coalition government had mounted external aggression and interference in the country. Talking to reporters, Fazl said the present government was following the footsteps of the former dictator, as the rulers bowed before their foreign masters time and again. He said corruption, poor law and order and price hike had made life miserable for the people. Fazl condemned the restoration of NATO supplies and called it an insult to parliament. He added that the rulers had sold the nation for a few dollars.
The JUI-F chief said the country had been passing through difficult situation as it had been facing a number of crises and there was a dire need to take initiatives to bring the country out of the crises. Stressing upon the importance and significance of the blessings of Holy Month of Ramadan, he said the nation should bow before Allah Almighty to get rid of corrupt rulers. He advised the nation to keep fasting in Ramazan and pray five times a day for the imposition of Quran and Islamic laws in the country.
