At least eight people were killed and 10 others injured in a roadside accident in the city’s area of Astore on Tuesday.
According to police sources, the passenger wagon was travelling from Pareshag to Astore when it skidded off into the river after it went out of control owing to overloading.
At least eight persons were killed in the incident.
Bodies and the injured including woman were shifted to District Hospital Astore.
The investigations into the incident have been started.
