Difa-e-Pakistan Council Chairman Maulana Samiul Haq has said that after successful and peaceful long march to the Pak-Afghan border, the DPC had given the message that it could stop NATO supplies through public power. Addressing a press conference at Benazir International Airport after arrival from Quetta on Monday, Haq said it was the desire of the DPC leadership that people should take the decision themselves. “By giving a warm welcome to participants of long march, the people of Balochistan proved that they are as patriot as the people of other provinces,” he said.
Haq invited PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman and PTI Chairman Imran Khan to join hands with DPC against the reopening of NATO supplies, however, he said some elements did not want to annoy the US by staging protests.
