Bugti murder case: ATC issues arrest warrants for Musharraf, Shaukat Aziz

An Anti-Terrorism Court on Wednesday issued arrest warrants for former military dictator Pervez Musharraf, ex-prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former Balochistan chief minister Jam Yousuf, former interior minister Aftab Khan Sherpao, ex-Balochistan home minister Shoaib Nosherwani, former governor Owais Ahmad Ghani and former DCO Abdul Samad Lasi in Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti murder case.
During the hearing ATC judge Khan Muhammad Nawaz Khan issued the arrest warrants to all the accused and adjourned the hearing till July 18.
The Balochistan court had previously issued arrest warrants for the ex-president and the prime minister but the provincial and federal authorities remained failed to implement the court orders.
Bugti was killed on August 26, in 2006 during an operation and cases were registered against some accused in Kohlu police station. Sessions court transferred the case to Sibbi ATC on direction of Balouchistan High Court on July 04.

  1. Everytime Musharraf announces a return to Pakistan, a couple of arrest warrants are issued to keep him at bay. Crazy corrupt system from which we expect impartial justice and effective control on the law and order situation. Nonsense! even a child knows that there can be no murder case against him. This man Bugti died / killed himself fighting the Law Enforcement Agencies of the country.
