PPP leader Faisal Sakhi Butt has said with a view to provide the modern transport facility to the residents of the federal capital, expression of interest has been invited for operation of Rapid Bus Transit System in the city.
Addressing the delegations from Sector G-9, G-11 and I-10 here, PPP leader Faisal Sakhi Butt said that the operation of Rapid Bus Transit System would be a milestone in the history of Islamabad, which would be the best modern transport facility.
He said the process of inviting applications from different national and international transport companies is underway and the residents of Islamabad would soon enjoy the benefits of the facility.
He said the government will take all effective measures to facilitate the people, adding that the former task force team of the prime minister had its pivotal role to facilitate the people from both the rural and urban areas of Islamabad.
